​Olly Davies is a 22 year old singer-songwriter from Guildford. He was the winner of the Fender Great Escape competition and played the opening set on the Fender paramount stage at the Great Escape festival in Brighton.


Following this performance Olly began writing, recording and performing throughout university. He began with a home demo which picked up over 14,000 streams on Soundcloud. Responding to this support Olly released the singles 'Lavender' and 'Sunset' whilst performing across the Uk with Musician's against Homelessness .

Nobody Love Me With the Lights On - New Single

Nobody Loves Me With the Lights On is Olly Davies' sixth single.

Written, recorded and produced in Olly's bedroom during 2 months worth of late evenings and nights; Nobody Loves Me With the Lights On represents a mixture of escapism and venting over the frustrations of a minimum wage job and the fear of being left behind.

The somewhat pessimistic theme does feature some slivers of hope and the lyrics are paired with an energetic and soulful accompaniment. A range of shifting guitar textures underpinned by driving drums and bass is sure to get feet tapping.

The song was premiered on the birthday special of the Payne Record's BE NATION podcast (March 26th).
